About Marcia's Figure Skaters
What is Marcia's Figure Skaters?
Marcia's Figure Skaters is a group made up of 15 skaters and their families. We have both recreational and competitive skaters and hockey players. Our skaters levels range from Tots to Adult.
We believe in working hard, while having fun. Our skaters are very supportive of one another. They can often be found working together on jumps or spins. They cheer each other on at competitions and cross their fingers for each other during test sessions.
Where do we train?
Our primary training location in the IceWorks Skating Complex in Aston, PA. Aston is located outside of Philadelphia. IceWorks is a four sheet facility. It has a friendly and supportive envirionment. Skaters training at the rink range from beginners to World and Olympic competitiors and medalists.
What club do we represent?
We represent the IceWorks Skating Club. The club has over 200 members and hosts many well known competitions. We will soon be hosting the South Atlantic Regional Championship for the third time. The IceWorks SC has also hosted the Eastern Sectional Championships, the Dance Classic and the Adult Halloween Classic. The Liberty Summer Invitational is also held at IceWorks. Liberty is the largest figure skating competition in the US.
